Akibot is the first semantic actionable micro-blogging platform for the enterprise. Akibot not only allows real-time group collaboration and awareness through short, instant messages (like a Twitter for the company), but it also understands those messages and, if applicable, takes action. One example: if a user posts a message that says “I have a meeting next Wednesday morning at Nations Repo regarding the new project”, besides letting everybody know about this meeting, Akibot will store this appointment in the group calendar, and will even send the user a reminder a few hours before to his/her cell phone.
