Recently, we’ve seen an increase in services that give customers the option of monetizing their tweets. The latest offering comes from the folks behind Hootsuite. The creators of the popular Twitter toolbox have announced the integration of Google Adsense into their service. By using Hootsuite’s ow.ly shortening service, users now have to ability to insert their Adsense code into each link. After a link is clicked, A 234 x 60 Half-Banner ad will be displayed in a small bar at the top of the screen.
The new feature is available now for all users. For instructions on how to integrate Adsense into your links, head over to the Hootsuite blog.

Wow I was wondering (not very hard though) who was going to sit in the front seat first. That might be kind of fun if the ad was based upon the last Tweet.
Cool idea, but is a Adsense publisher really allowed to put their ad in a frame, and show someone elses content below?
I have a hootsuit account I am going to put adsense on my twitter links soon. Thanks for the tip.
