TwitStat, the Twitter analytics site, has released a list of the top 100 twitter clients. Besides the web (#1), the most popular desktop client is TweetDeck, which recently received angel funding. The most popular client for the iphone is Tweetie and TwitterBerry for Blackberry phones, while the most popular mobile web client outside of m.twitter.com is Slandr. Here are the top ten clients, according to TwitStat:

2. TweetDeck (10.32% of users, 12.49 tweets/user)
3. Twitterfeed (5.63% of users, 5.76 tweets/users)
4. Twhirl (4.88% of users, 8.46 tweets/user)
5. Tweetie (3.89% of users, 5.61 tweets/user)
6. txt (3.49% of users, 3.35 tweets/user)
7. Twitterific (3.39%, 6.64 tweets/user)
8. TwitterFon (3.21%, 5.82 tweets/user)
9. mobile web / m.twitter.com (3.09% of users, 4.86 tweets/user)
